Right, this is how my game currently stands:

Game Settings:
English (Blue Sq N/S), Spain (Liga adalente) & Brazil (Second Division) leagues selected.
Large Database.
Set myself as a semi-professional footballer.
Start of season expectations: Promotion (700k budget, £52k on wages.)

Date:
Saturday, 7th August 2010

Pre-season Results:
Brighton 2-1 Portsmouth (Murray x2)
Accrington 0-2 Brighton (Bennett, Murray)
Brighton 0-3 Wolves
Brighton 1-1 QPR (Soukouna)
Bognor Regis 0-5 Brighton (Nicholls x2, Murray x2, El-Abd)
Dorchester 0-3 Brighton (Elphick, Bennett, Nicholls)

Quite pleased with how pre-season went actually. Especially beating Pompey and drawing against QPR. Playing against Championship opposition and getting results like that give me a big lift into my chances this year.

Transfers In:
Matty Robson (Carlisle) £200k
King Gyan (Free Transfer)
Pelé (Free Transfer)
Ahmed Soukouna (Free Transfer)
Alex Nicholls (Walsall) £81k
Charlie Lee (Peterborough) 400k

Transfers Out:
None.

Not sure anyone but JC is interested but:

For league ganme sin and Eastbournwe have a had a mixed bag ..

Fleetwood ghome 6-0 - easy... Mania and Dixon got a brace each
Luton home 1-3 - had both my forwards carried off inside twenty minutes and only had one on the bench... never got back in the game. Dixon out for four months
Histon away 5-0 Cherif two on his debut and another brace from Mania (great soft shoe shuffle for such a big player to celebrate!)
Crawley away 2-3 As Histon was a Tuesday night, by Saturday 9 first team players were unfit (never play player under 91%) and had to put in the second team .. then Reid got carried off.... Cherif and a monster header from Clancy.

Mitigating circumstances for both defeats and both against top teams in the division so not too unhappy... but had expected better.

Brought a smile :rave: I'm noticing the injuries are mental too..

Now got a bit of tiem so will give a bigger picture.

Cocnentratinmg on the furure and believing that much of the team was good enough for promotion I did the following in terms of transfers..... most going into the reserves and under-18s for the future:

IN
Omar Koroma -free
Christian Nanetti - free
Kingsley Grandison - free
Gael Nlundulu - free
Tim Hopkinson - free
Aaron King - free
Oliver Nicholas - free
James Dunn - free
Tomos Roberts - free
Craif Eastmond - loan
Sean Geddes - 45k from Walsall
Mathew Briggs - loan
Tony Diagne - free
Gyan King - free

Eastmond and Briggs are for three months in which time Grandison and Roberts will be ready for the first team

OUT
Gary Hart - 10k
Andy Whing - 12k
Alan Navarro - 40k

Have been hit by injuries left right and centre so have actually had to use 30 players already.

SEASON -
Posh - home - 3-1 Sandaza 2 and Muzza
Wycombe lc home 2-1 Nıcholas, Nlundulu but Baz was mom then fractures wrist and out for two months... also Barnes carried off with torn calf muscle - five months
Aints away - 3-4 Murray 2 Koroma. Ankergren had a mare and hasnt played since.... so did the ref who refused a good pen and dislllaowed a clear Muzza goal
Yeovil home - 3-2 Koroma, Lua Lua Murray Greer out for a month
Newcastle lc away 2-0 Elphick 2... after game Houghton started a spat with me so unlikely to keep Lua Lua now
Walsall away 4-1 Koroma 2 elbad lualua
MK Dons home 0-0
Swindon away 5-2 Koroma, Nlundulu, bennett, og, Muzza
Oldham home 5-1 Koroma 2 Nlundulu Dicker

Nlundulu is absolutely on fire at the mo and keeping Bennet out

How weird- My uncle is youth director for fourth division Spanish team Racing Club Portuense and as a side project has set up this academy within the club where released premier league players can come and play competitive football in the spanish leagues where numerous English scouts come out to Spain to watch the players called 'nextstars' ( this is similar to Glenn Hoddle's academy in Jerez which I also spent time at watching numerous training sessions and games). My uncle brought over two players from England this year- one a centre back formerly of Nottm Forest (Karl/Carl Sibson?) and the other Kingsley Gradison (ex- Man City) a winger who when I met him I thought he looked remarkably similar to Robinho. Strange

Wherever The Mood Takes Me
I am just over half way through my 1st season at Danish 2nd division east side "Nodvest".

Having just returned from the 4 month break that they have in Denmark I find myself in 3rd position. It's quite a hard league to get out of as only the winners have a chance of promotion and even they have to go through a play off.

Anyway, I will post some screenshots when I get a chance but am really enjoting the game so far although I must agree with what somebody siad earlier , there are way too many penalties given.

January 1 2012. The transfer window opens and I need a new central midfielder. A quick player search reveals a certain rather famous chap has finished his contract in LA and is available on a free......

I guess that it must have been the Falmer factor that swung it........

:lolol:

For the last few weeks I set myself the challenge of starting from the bottom as a sunday league footballer manager. Took over as manager of Chelmsford and won promotion as leaders in first season of BSS. 2nd season neck and neck with Luton in BSP and 6 points clear of anyone else after 25 games... just got knocked out of FA cup in 3rd round by Manure 4-0 but beat Shrews and Borient on the way.

The interesting things was that just after mssing out on the playoffs... Brighton first season but then went into freefall after moving to Falmer. Poyet got sacked december with Brighton in 20th. I applied for the job but instead they chose Trabelsi... since which time Brighton have lost 8 in a row and rock bottom. Big possibility Ill be playing the Albion next season in league 2. :(

Anyon want to know great bargains for the BS?

I'll skip the details, but won League 1 the first season and somehow followed that up with winning the Championship (I genuinely have no idea how; we were mediocre the first few games but then started winning games against poor teams and didn't really stop. My team should have been nowhere near). A desperate battle to stay in the Premiership, and at least somewhere near the supposed wage budget, followed, and I eventually finished 14th. Now in 5th place in January 2014, and my first choice team below;

GK - Sergio Romero (free from AZ)
RB - Lee Hodson (£1.5m from Man Utd, who signed him from Watford end of 2010/11)
LB - Carl Dickinson (£1.1m from Stoke)
CB - Kyle Bartley (free from Arsenal)
CB - Pichu Atienza (free from Atletico Madrid)
RM - John Fleck (£6.5m from Rangers)
LM - Joe Ledley (£5m from Celtic)
DM - Papa Diop (£2m from Racing Santander)
DM - Tom Cairney (£3.5m from Hull)
ST - Andy Carroll (£7.5m from Newcastle)
ST - Leigh Griffiths (£250k from Dundee)

Have Alex Smithies, John O'Shea, Håvard Nordtveit, newgen Hungarian wonderkid, Charlie Austin, Adam Matthews and Simon Church on the bench. Only Leigh Griffiths from that lot is from my first season, and only original squad member still around is Jake Caskey (but he can't get a game).

how did u get david beckham to sign mental lental

I was top of the Championship in January and his LA Galaxy contract had just finished. He asked for 8k a week and a bit of a hefty sign on fee (250k) but I had plenty left in the transfer kitty at the time. Surprisingly there was no competition for his signature.

He's been crap so far though, I'm hoping this is just down to lack of match fitness.

asking price is about 250k but they held out for 700k

Im back to playing football manager 2010 as i think the gameplay is more realistic, just 2 many goals in 2011 and hard to get team to play way want.
I still think that the gameplay is a lot worse than it used to be, the best one is still 2004, yes all the other bits to game is a lot better but the training and game control is a lot worse.

I haven't got FM 11 but can the goals be any more stupid than FM '10? :lolol:

My current FM 2010 season...
