Impressive stuff. I'm delighted to report that there was movement from an assortment of diggers and lorries from as early as 7am this morning.

And it's pissing down. Good work WORKERS.


Edit: no change between 7.40 and 8am. I'm afraid that's a bit poor.

Went past on the bus as always, the workers were busy doing their thing. The East Stand was coming along nicely, and you could see the CURVE shape of the stand beginning to form (which is just off camera to the right)

Watching GMTV this morning they did a report from the new Olympic Stadium in London.. seeing just how fast the main structure has been thrown up has got me all excited

Judging by the pics from the site posted over the weekend, there is a large part of the East Stand that cannot be seen by the cam. Expect they're all beavering away off cam.

I have tried viewing the webcam on my Blackberry but it doesn't want to know-anybody else unable to view the webcam on their phone?
