1,000 seats a week, going on a 40 hour week equates to 25 seats an hour.

If they are going in 3's like at Withdean, thats a row of 3 seats every 7 minutes or thereabouts. Sounds easy enough to do.

16.45 pic - 3 workers in the east stand have just realised they'll have to work a lot faster to get it all done on time.

I like that the gap between the edge of the pitch and the front of the stand isn't TOO big. A lot of the new stadiums seem to have gone overboard on distancing the fans from the pitch (ie. the opposite of Chelsea - definition of 'compactness') - but I think ours will be just about okay - by modern stadium standards. And I certainly can't complain considering what we've had to put up with Withdean!

Only noticed recently how large the gap is at Molineux.. the fans are MILES away:

They are addressing this - they have moved the pich towards the South Bank stand and are planning substantial redevelopment work over the next few years. In the meantime, Molineux is the only ground in the football league where a regulation pitch could be installed SIDEWAYS. This is the because it was the first new stadium after the report into the Hillsborough disaster and subsequent changes in stadium design law, so they went over the top in meeting the new regulations. I tend to keep abrest of these issues as I live within 200 metres of Molineux.

Webcam seems to be working again now, there's some exciting lines appearing on the pitch!

Looks like the undersoil heating structure being started.
