tinky ****in winky
can't see anything offensive about it .....just ****ing stupid.
What a terrible advert though. The “lyrics” are dire.
“I was halfway through a scone”
Terrible.
This is a real example of just how low standards have got. They think by filling the advert with a selection of BAME Zoomers acting slightly whimsically, they can sacrifice quality.
If I was in that meeting this wouldn’t have got past the “I think I have an idea…” stage.
You may have hit the nail on the head.
My wife comes from Accrington, next door to Darwen, where Crown paints are based. There is no way a group of Lancashire businessmen would have agreed to that advert unless they could put their own stamp on it. Hence the 'humour', in a 'we don't agree with this advert, but we know that the BAME stuff is right on trend in the south, where we sell our paint' kind of way.
Along comes Jenny Eclair, and they inadvertently strike a goldmine.
Ah, so you're saying this is the fault of Brexity Northerners.
*taps nose*
IMO I find very offensive that 99% of adverts show a mixed race marriage.
I always think the driver in this one she says the F word. Still haven't worked out what she does actually say
Where?
-You alright, hun?
-Got the blankets?
-yeah
-and the car seat?
-in the back
[holds candle, confused]
-yeah, it's got essential oils
[low fuel indicator]
-Argh, you didn't think petrol was an essential oil?!
-It's gonna be fine. Just a quick top up and we'll be there.
-go go go
Don't know what is offensive anymore...

I’m offended by this.
