LA...wishing it was devon..
any techies....
looking to knock family member's SKY subscription on the head. Due to location, Free Sat is best bet. Has main box in lounge and magic eye in bedroom. Suits purpose. Sky dish and box are less than year old. Nice man in Currys told me that Sky 'did' offer viewing card for FS so can use the same equipment, which would be ideal.... otherwise, two FS boxes needed and someone to fit second. Googled as per... and confused. Some say you can access progs with no card....
Anyone done this? Or gone down the buying card route? Just need most cost effective way .... cheers chaps and chapesses!

I'm doing this. Can receive the channels ok, but can't record anything. I think you can record if you pay Sky a monthly fee. We've found that we very very rarely miss being able to record.
