Anyone done it, I'm in SA for Xmas and want to do it in Greenpoint.

Any feedback would be good, safety, parking etc etc?

Not done but have been to CT, it but doesn’t look to be in any of the dodgier areas and with 500+ runners and their families about would imagine it won’t be too unsafe.

I was in Cape Town for the Saturday 22nd Park Run - Thankfully I checked the website first, to learn the event was cancelled due to a volunteer shortage. I think it had been like that since August.

There are a couple of other within 3-5 miles as an alternative if Green Point isn’t available.

Temperature could be ~30 ish - so remember your water bottle.
I was there playing cricket back in 2007 - great place for some winter sun
