ODPM's Office Tells Me

If the letters are posted out on Friday afternoon , they should all be received on Monday morning presumably before the official announcement is made by ODPM. If someone got the letter however on Saturday and leaked the verdict then this would be unofficial until it is officially confirmed by the ODPM on Monday. Does this mean you may have to celebrate unofficially and officially on different days? There again someone could be posting them this evening when they finish work to hit the doormats tomorrow morning. It's 50/50 for either Friday or Monday(includes the weekend) and because we have waited so long it's comparable to being 20 yards away from the finish line after running 26 miles already.

If people are now saying an announcement will be made tomorrow at 8am on the radio this negates the fact that interested parties will be told by letter , how many will get their post before 8am.
