Oddest place you've met a fellow fan

Dorset Seagull

Once Dolphin, Now Seagull
Having lived in Shaftesbury, North Dorset for about 20 years I was surprised to see a bloke from the local post office in the away end at Yeovil. Seems he has been an albion fan all his life and moved up from Brighton many years ago himself

Well I know of at least three of us in Lonnie (Tasmania). Was wearing my shirt out one day and a bloke out for a jog stopped and asked how we were going. He is the sports writer for the local paper, comes form Steyning and moved out here ages ago.

Often puts bits about us in his column, funniest one was comparing taking his son to his first game at the MCG to watch Hawthorn and Lance Franklin (AFL stuff) to him going to the Goldstone and watching Peter Ward. Never thought I would see Peter Ward compared with Lance Franklin!!!

Also met a bloke at the MCG, sitting two rows behind me, who was from Lonnie, aslo wearing his Seagulls shirt. 100,000 people in the stadium and the two Brighton fans from Tasmania sitting three seats apart. Weird.

Met a guy in Tunisia last year staying at the same hotel, neither of us wearing colours and somehow still managed to get the chat round to the albion.

years ago before i moved to Scotland i was here on holiday, went into a pub, had a few beers, and asked the barmaid to put teletext on to get Brightons result in the JPT (or whatever it was called in those days). as the page came up to say Millwall had beat us 5-0 i said oh bollocks and a cheer went up from 3 lads sitting along from me. They were Millwall and just up there working, fair play to them i never bought another drink all night but did take a severe amount of shit from them

Its only 2 resorts which give it a bad name,if you stay away from them its a lovely place to visit.

I'm only joking. As a fan of electronic music I'm partial to the island myself. Talamanca Bay is the place I go to, just off Ibiza Town.
