Having watched Bournemouth defend last season, at lease Maguire and Dier would feel right at home.

Southgate needs to bin off the idea of 3 centre halves and wing-backs. Why:

1. Because we only have 2 decent centre backs - Dunk and Coady. There's barely the cover for two, let alone three, centre halves. The rest are shite: Maguire, Dier, Keane, Mings, Gomez. Hopefully, Ben White can step up.
2. Walker is not a centre-back.
3. Trippier is not a left-back.
4. Finally, we have some talented midfielders to go with Henderson - Mount, Grealish, Maddison.
