This is far from obscure, but starting Tuesday on SyFy at 9pm is Jordan Peele's new version of The Twilight Zone. For some reason it is starting with episode 2, then episode 1 airs the week after. They're stand alone episodes, so it shouldn't matter.

Cant be arsed to see if this series has been mentioned before, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" on Amazon. We decided to give this a go a couple of weeks ago and it has turned out to be quite amusing after a slow start. Seems popular, as it has had 3 seasons and S4 is in production.

I love it, can't wait for season 4. Great cast.

Currently watching Justifed on Amazon Prime, now into the second season. It’s about a modern day US Marshall in rural Kentucky, dealing with various criminals, he’s also in two on-off relationships.

I love it, and the main character.

Was sorry when it finished, Timothy Olyphant is always good (Walton Goggins too). The Elmore Leonard books were good.

When it’s a bit of a downer when a TV drama completely finishes, you know that it and the characters touched you. The Americans, House of Cards, Person of Interest and Breaking Bad did this to me.

Thankfully for me, Bosch and Justified aren’t complete. When it’s a bit of a downer when a TV drama completely finishes, you know that it and the characters touched you. The Americans, House of Cards and Breaking Bad did this to me.

A new series called 'Hunters' with Al Pacino starts today on Amazon Prime.

It's based on true events about a group of Nazi Hunters in New York in the 70s tracking down escaped Nazis living in the USA

Watched the first one tonight. It’s going to be good.

I watched that last night - very impressed.

Admittedly I settled in for a 45 minute show, not realising it was twice that.
I think I had a couple of 'long blinks' towards the end but will most definitely catch up the catch up before moving on.

It was good wasn't it. Good mix of humour and some quite dark bits.

Quite some cold open!!

That certainly kept me awake for the subsequent hour.

I've probably only got about 10 minutes to catch, as some of the stuff said at the end made no sense at all.

Have now slept through the second episode.

This genuinely isn't a critique - it actually is high praise indeed.

I'm turning to a programme despite knowing full well I'll nod off.

Still enjoyable but did find the Tarrantino stuff a little unnecessary.

The second series of the terrific Before We Die (Innan vi dör) starts on C4 in March.

Certainly one of the better challengers to the Scandi leaders such as The Bridge, The Killing etc etc. Highly recommended.

Seems to be getting some flack from various organisations saying it is not as factual as it should be and is making stuff up which will play into the hands of the deniers. It has gone a bit 'comic book' Tarrantino in places, but this is clearly for humour. When it tackles the serious stuff it does it well and is very moving. I think it's one of the best performances I've seen from Al Pacino in a while. The other actors are also doing a good job in moving things along.

Oh I'm definitely keeping with it, just after act 1 scene 1 I didn't really need to comic book.

I did get to the bottom as too how long Saturday's long blink was!!

Secret room through to just before park meeting!!!

Hence "2 have been killed" not making much sense.

Last night I got as far as waking up other FBI agent only to stop my mono-blink, at some dining room table torture.

Non-US, but any Gomorrah fans done Romanze Criminale? At first I wasn’t sure, Dandi’s bad wig not helping, plus too much brooding, brows-down staring from Libanese, but 4 episodes into series one and I’m hooked. Not as slick as Gamorrah but decent enough and some stunning 1970s Porsche, Fiat and Alpha Romeo car porn, plus some equally stunning Italian women make it even more watchable.
