With that, and not obscure in the slightest, I'd like to RIP Anita Pointer, of Pointer Sisters fame, who died recently and does not seem to have been recognised on these hallowed pages yet.

It's probably not a disaster, other Pointers are still available.

Due to some kind of morbid curiousity I'm a frequent visitor to the the Recent Deaths page on wikipedia and am more than happy to become NSC's unoffical RIP monitor for the next 12 months.

Yes l'm a frequent reader of the obituaries columns in newspapers, if only to make sure that my name hasn't appeared there yet.

Can't see a problem with them myself. As often as not I have to google them anyway, and is it's somebody I'd never heard of or cared about I'll just move on.
Obviously, with a lot of these threads, a lot of other people have about the same level of interest as I do, and subsequently ignore them. Without wishing to make this sound like an insensitive comment, they then just die a death anyway. No bother.
