A classic from Mission of Burma.

Ha! Before I got together with Mrs T (we were work colleagues) we were discussing something annoying (another colleague, probably) and I said 'That's when I reach for my revolver' and she immediately came back with 'Mission of Burma'. The rest is history :lolol:

Top suggestions, also, above from @uh huh him

Remember seeing them at the Poly. Can’t remember the other time but think it was probably as a support to a goth act of the mid 80’s time, e,g. cult, sisters or mission.

The gig with Bone Orchard may have been at the Poly. I can't remember where it was and it wasn't a familiar venue.

This is the first track I ever heard by these lovely boys. I never heard another track by them for another ten years. This sounds absolutely unlike anything else they have ever recorded. Still going and completely wonderful.

Fairly sure that I saw them support The Cure on an early tour. Also vaguely remember a band called "Where's the W?" which is mixed into the same memory. Just googled them, but no joy.

There's only one thing worse than hearing about some wally's dream, and that's hearing about some wally's naff 80's record collection. It's not big. It's not clever. It's certainly not interesting. If only there were some Ignore Group I could subscribe to...

Here's some 80s scottish tat for you, featuring the Outstanding and much missed Billy McKenzie. Great to see the hibernian audience having such fun :

And if that didn't send the blood racing through you shrivelled old Scottish body, try this loveliness:
