He was doing so well and over the last few games he has been woefull.

His passing as been to slow or mis placed and i lost count of how many times he got cought on the ball tonight

wherever the money is
He should never have started ahead of Hammond who has done nothing wrong in the stripes IMHO. Oatway is not good enough for this division and we need to get DK to get out his cash book urgently.

Did you leave before the last 20 minutes? He led the fightback at the end, at least half a dozen difficult passes threaded down the flanks for our forwards to run on to. Nicolas hits one of those passes about every ten games.

A game lasts 90s minutes... So many unforced errors but then again you could say that about a few players tonight.

thats rubbish.

he came into the game because we went gung ho and they sat back. he should have scored at the end and i counted at least 3 times he lost the ball under NO pressure.

Incidentally- he isnt there to pass- if we needed that Reid could play in CM. he is there to tackle and harrass- something he is embarrasingly bad at. Hammond did more in his first 5 mins on the pitch than Oatway did the whole game.

i agree with most of the things you say. on this however you are clearly wrong.

I rarely get emotional LI..but boy oh boy I think you are wrong here. The man is a legend in my eyes but I recognise that he is just not cutting it right now.

I don't know if you are sticking up for him just to be contraversial but something just does not add up.

He was woeful against Wigan and Reading..what game were you watching?

Feel free to disagree with me however emotionally you want - but you are really disagreeing with McGhee if you can bring yourself to be a little honest.

Overall, this was not one of Charlie's better games but I have not a shred of doubt he'll be picked for Coventry ahead of more lightweight players.

Can't agree there - wimbledon, vinnie jones and all that - fitness enthusiasm and tactical nous can definitely make up for skill. Why are we always better in teh last 15 mins?

Charlie had only just come into bad form and was an important player in the first half of the season when we battled out the 1-0 wins.

But do have to say in the last 3 games he has been rubbish. Always taking to long on the ball and wasting possession but lets hope he comes through it as he is clearly an important player.

Perhaps Charlie is hypnotising McGhee to get selected, have you considered that possibility?
