To be fair, the first two were both QUALITY albums. Since then however (1995-6 ish) they've been utter, utter gash.

Don't forget the b-sides album. That was quality too. I'm confident that 60-70% of the 'best of' album will be made up of songs taken from those three albums. There'll be a token song or two from all the other albums.

And from Wiki

Track listing
The following songs have been confirmed as appearing on the album.

"The Importance Of Being Idle"
"Half The World Away"
"Acquiesce"
"Supersonic"
"Wonderwall"
The press release also confirmed that "several" songs from (What's The Story) Morning Glory? would be included.

On the 28th July 2006, The Sun newspaper printed what it claimed would be the full tracklisting of the record [1]. This tracklisting was picked up on by several Internet music websites which also claimed it was confirmed. However, on the 1st August 2006, an Oasis PR confirmed to Teletext's Planet Sound that The Sun's guess at the final tracklisting was wrong, and that the full line-up wouldn't be confirmed until September.

That's given me an idea...

I thought the last album wasn't THAT bad *runs away, before the usual hail of hormonal abuse following any praise of music on NSC descends*

Nothing off Be Here Now, ok by no means the best thing they've done but certainly the likes of Stand By Me and D'You Know What I Mean should be on there.

People judge them by the standards of the first two albums. the last few albums certainly all had their moments.
