Don't get me wrong I love the older Oasis stuff and seeing them live about 10 years ago is one of the best gigs I've been to but of late they have got more and more poor and Green day have got better.

The problem is with OAsis they have spent so long fannying abotu that I got bored, whereas Green Day went away sorted themselve sout and ar enow good again after going shit in the middle.


*note* I got a Blowie at the Reading festival whilst Green day played live which may be altering my opinion of them slightly.

I think Oasis are BANG back in form, The new single is WICKERD and I also liked that one before.

Green Day has always been pop punk bullshit and it doesn't WASH with me.

Oasis are MUCH better than Green Day.

I like that 'Time Of Your Life' song and 'Holiday' was ok for the first couple of listens but I find their music really annoying.

Oasis on the other hand have not only produced what is IMHO the best debut album of all time (Definately Maybe) but also one of the best albums of all time (Whats The Story?), ok they've had a 10 year gap of pretty average albums but their latest is a corker and if you haven't already I ask of you all to go get it.

How can you compare Oasis and Green Day? They are play completley different types of music.

Actually they both are shite - although Oasis' early stuff was quite good (B sides esp.)
