Oasis or Blur?

This topic came about in the office a few days back.
Who is the better band

Tempted to go for the both good, but Oasis will always have a bigger place in my heart, they're more like my second team than a band. Looking forward to seeing Blur at Glasto though.

I never gone for the "bad attitude is cool" logic so I'm going for Blur. Plus I think that their songs on the whole were better although Champagne Supernova is head & shoulders above anything else either band did.

Oasis in the 90's were miles better imo

blur were better and more versatile musicians

oasis were good but have made a LOT of shit stuff

I was always a blur and pulp fan rather than an Oasis fan myself. Oasis did have a lot of bloody good songs though.

I was a big fan of oasis in the 90's. But, as i got older and grew into the 00's, i started to like Blur at lot more. Much better.

Although, out of 90's bands, Embrace have been the best band i have seen live.

Blur have been far more original and adventurous. They also haven't got tired like Oasis have with the rubbish they're churning out now.

Blur all the way for me.
