o/t whats a fair price for some bathroom tiling?

Chances are if water has been getting in behind when you knock off old tiles the rest will come with, are you trying to take down 4 rows and keep the tiles above them? May chip old tiles removing others, not as simple as it sounds, also would need to come back to grout after cement has gone off.

Try not to big him up - he's on two groats a week as it is

He's spot on with his comments there though. I don't really do much tiling now but I would rather tile a whole wall from scratch than fill in a few rows. Especially if the existing tiles are an odd size.
