I've resisted the temptation to join in this thread as I've tried to enforce my own "truce" with Britbyte the last couple of months and not rise to some of his posts, as recently he has actually talked some sense, especially with his FOOTBALL posts.....

However, a question I have to ask Mr Expressman is that I've noticed that whenever you post something that is slighlty controversial, rude, provocative, etc and people shout you down for it and call you a muppet, you always turn it around and say that you post was a joke, and those people who are having a pop at you are in fact the muppets and should get a life for not getting the joke

I think in future, if you don't want people to take offence to your posts, you should make it clear from the outset that your post is in jest, otherwise people might take it the wrong way....
