Good. Maybe saved a few fish from getting murdered following hooks being stuck in their mouths.

Are you going to stop buying " line caught " fish in supermarkets or stick with the even less ecology friendly, trawler caught fish ?

If he'd barracudared the door, then the burglers might not have bream able to break in. If he puts a chub lock on the door , then next time eel not be so unlucky

Edit: I do genuinely feel sorry for your mate. I've been robbed and it's a horrible feeling.

Yes, because he probably nicked the tackle and then immediately smashed it up so that it could never be used again...

Not sure catching a carp, placing it on a padded unhooking mat and maybe spraying any affected areas on the fish with the new
antiseptic sprays that most carp anglers have in their tackle box nowadays before carefully slipping the fish back into the water can be classed as murder.
Any freshwater fisherman is an eye for the environmentalists so the safer our rivers and lakes become for our wildlife.

Very nearly a rant that wasn`t it ?

Cant beat a nice bit of beam trawling for wrecking the life on our sea beds.

Very true, unlike the Aussies. I was watching Go Fishing, John wilson was fishing with rex hunt, wilson caught a huge carp hunt said that if he caught it back home he would throw it up the bank, wilson was digusted.

People who catch the fish sold in supermarkets are not killing them as sport. Killing something for sport is reprehensible.
