I'd maybe look at a Web Based piece of software, as the data is very secure. Try Xerox or Iris, although Sage One/Live will probably do it for you.

My accountant sent me all that I use, but my company is very simple compared to a restaurant, but worth talking to an accountant

Run Bootcamp, I'm sure you'll find more options for open source software for Windows, although most of the ones on the link below seem to work on OSX too.

A friend of mine swears by Quickbooks, but for my web work I use FreeAgent.
