I bought a Samsung 40in LED just before Christmas and linked it up with a Freesat box and dish which Currys can install for you.
Picture quality is superb even non HD stuff is crystal, would reccomend the extra quids.
Samsung UE40C5100Q LED HD 1080p Digital Television, 40 Inch

Was thinking of getting one of those Samsung 3D ready ones but not sure if the 3d element will ever catch on. Samsung seem to be leading the pack at the moment for innovation. NSC recommend them?

Hi

Need to upgrade my television, and have a few questions - hope someone can help....

Looking for a screensize of around 42"-50", and with full HD.

What's the difference between Plasma and LCD TV??
Are there any special features I should be looking for with the HD?
What does 1080p mean? Is this good?

I'm looking at this one - Toshiba Regza 42AV635DB 42-inch Widescreen Full HD: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics Photo - any opinions?

Think im right in saying that its one of the TVs that is part of Toshibas world cup offer so if England win you get the TV for free

3DTV is just a fad , mind you I said the same about the internet in 1993.
