i have unearhed some paintings that a distant relative did years ago, and gave out as presents to the family.. i was too young at the time to aprpeciate them really..

I have been looking to sell these, but not sure whats the best way - either through a pawn shop with no intention of buying back, on on ebay?

all are framed, and in oil i think. one is quite big, so dont want to be lumbered with post costs.. the stuff i have seen on ebay seems to be mainly big name stff, or prints..

anyone know of a local shop / trader that may be interested?

Are these paintings that your Great Uncle Pablo did back in the 1930s?

If so, I'll give you a fiver for them.

:lolol:

How long had these paintings been missing, Desprate?

You could try and get a free valuation from one of the respected Antique shops - Michael Norman antiques for one....

If you don't think they are worth a huge amount, then you could try snoopers paradise and see if they would buy them off you....

I've sold some big stuff on ebay, including a wardorobe! Just don't offer a delivery option, buyer collects.
