3 of the last 4 at Ally Pally have contested a Lakeside Fianl in the last 5 years, people say the BDO is a mickey mouse outfit with mickey mouse players but does this stat would prove that's not the case?

Whitlock played PDC before he played BDO.
He couldn't cut it, so he "dropped down" to the BDO to get some decent practise in "major" tournaments.
Now he's good enough to compete in proper darts with the PDC pros.
Barney played his darts in the Netherlands (not the BDO ranks over here).
Taylor is, well, Taylor!
And Webster left the BDO when he realised that he'd gone as far as that tin pot organisation would allow him to.
The PDC v BDO war ended ages ago, because the BDO is dead as a professional darts body.
Grow up and move on.
Tony sorry I think you misunderstood what I was getting at, its not about growing up and moving on, its that Barry Hearn prior to his cheeky offer to buy them out was very dismissive about the BDO, but clearly there needs to be a tournament network where these players can get a grounding which is what the BDO provide.
Just out of interest do you know how many of the PDC last 32 had played in the Lakeside since the split of 1993?
I'd be surprised if it wasn't over 20.
This is why players move to the PDC. 5 televised tournaments a year and the chance of the premier league for the top 6, which I'm sure isn't included in the earnings in this list. I couldn't find a BDO equivalent
