I have a piece of software that takes video files and converts them in DVD, either NTSC or PAL. I got something else free with it that burns MP3 files to ordinary CDs too. It's called DVDSanta and cost $30.

Found on www.download.com.

Your problem will be getting it from the VCR to the PC. The ones I've burnt are all downloads.

I just connect my video to a DVD Recorder - by far the easiest way. And you can buy DVD Recorders for £89 now.

TGC, any idea where i can get one from?

That sounds good.

Is there any cheap way of doing through the PC as i've a dvd burner on my machine? Do you know?? If not i'll go for a seperate DVD burner after I've got paid.

I've moved recently, but I always use to video all the goals off ITV, Merdian etc. I'd say I've got about 8 or 9 x 3 hour videos full of goals and highlights, but loads of old adverts in between. I've probably got some interesting stuff on them, I have a lot of footage of the last season at the Goldstone, play offs and even the full 90 mins + of the 1983 FA CUP final on VHS. They are all boxed up at the moment but I will sort them out over the winter and, if they take alright I'll do the same and sell them off nice and cheap.

I knew all those sad days of rushing in to press recored would come in handy one day. :)

Think you may find the market for the FA Cup Final rather slim after my 100 odd FA Cup boxsets! :)

If you just want copies - I can convert them for you as long as I can have a copy if I don't already have it. If you want to raise money for the club - I can add it to my footage I am going to release in a few weeks. If you want to sell it yourself, I'll just do you a copy.

You may have to wait a week or two though as I'm moving next Friday.
