I need some advice from those in the know...

In November, I won a competition which was run jointly by my employers and union.

The prize was a console, so needless to say I was quite excited.

Unfortunately, it is now nearly April and I still haven't received my prize.

Does anyone know of any rules/laws/regulations that are being broken?

I've written to the people who ran the competition and the person who was meant to be sorting out the prize, but all that I've had is excuse after excuse!

your employer has entered into (and is jointly liable with your union for) a contract with you with regard to this prize.Presumably It offered it as a work incentive so it should be regarded as part of the conditions upon which you are employed.

you should pressurise your H.R. into fullfilling that contract and getting your union rep to raise it as a grievence should gee up their side
