I won't start another thread, but would be v interested in peoples thoughts on Eastbourne Indian takeaways. We do not have the quality options that Brighton enjoy (mainly because IMO people can't or won't pay higher prices). Any recommendations?

Hi all, just want to say thanks for all the suggestions. It's the birthday of a mate of mine who is a lifelong Albion fan and we normally celebrate with a curry. Instead we're ordering one in and probabky Zooming it. So much choice, so thanks again!

Got one from Kemptown Tandoori last night. Amazing.

The curries were good quality and not an oily mess, but the bhajis, lamb samosas and naan were incredible.

The Empire Tandoori, Lewes Road.
Still as good as when I left.
When I came back last year I must have had at least 5 curries from there, excellent.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
We had Kamals earlier this week (opp Chimney House on Upper Hamilton Rd) and it’s by far our favourite Indian in the city
One or two humps?

Not in the mood for cooking, we had a curry and extras delivered from Chowringhee (again) of Carden Avenue.

Delicious, especially their Onion Bhajis

Looks as though you are not alone in your praise of Chowringhee
