Anyone recommend a place to buy Euros at a decent rate? (Left it too late to open a Nationwide Flex Account as going abroad next wednesday)

"It doesn't work like that" - didn't think you need a flexaccount to buy foreign currency from Nationwide online, just a debit/credit card? I have used them in the past but normally buy from HSBC online as their rates have been marginally better and they don't charge for delivery if your total order is over £250.

Both are commission free and next working day delivery provided you order before a certain time but I guess it's a question of you doing some minor maths with a Casio abacus.

Pretty decent exchange rate at the Bureau de Change in Marks & Spencer in Western Road. Or at least there always used to be.

Also takes away some of the fun of getting all the weird looking foreign notes, etc. Although with the, what, 10 issuers of Sterling thats somewhat mitigated... I don't think I've two £10 notes from the same bank in my wallet and theres five of them there (BoE, BoI, Ulster, Northern and First Trust)
