This morning there was a 'neopolitan' spider in our bath - the front third of it was bright red, the middle section was white and the back section was brown and sizewise it was about a centimetre in total span. It was freaky to say the least and had possibly hopped off a pack of recently purchased bananas. Anyone encountered such a beast before, or know what type of spider it may have been?

Was the red area shaped like an eggtimer?

Think the bananas were from South Africa BOF (they looked a bit racist) but they may be irrelevant to the spider being in the bath.

Red area not shaped like an egg timer Goodfella.

Not drowned HP, just chucked out of the bathroom window so no doubt went on a shagging spree with the natives and we'll be colonised by mutant multicoloured deadly spiders.

Do you normally keep your bananas in the bathroom?

If so, what do you use them for?
