That's a coherent explanation of why the numbers can't change.Trouble is, the numbers are supplied by an outside firm, licensed by the FL, so there are only going to be a set number of colour options available. 2 seasons ago we had a choice of white or black numbers, the white didn't show up on the away kit (Portsmouth) so for the next game they changed to black. Can't understand why they can't try something like that though, see how it works with one of the other available colours.
"We are committed to the yellow numbering for the coming season" is a straight forward refusal to listen to fans' concerns.

Where's the customer awareness? And it's not just shirt numbering, it's a whole batch of other stuff ... catering, ticketing, transport, etc. Despite the hype about the need for better trading results, there's little sign of good customer service emanating from the Club at the moment.
