I've got P70 BHA. Bought it a few years ago from someone on here. I've got it on a retention certificate currently. Don't know if I'll ever use it. Could possibly be prised away from me,can't remember what I paid for it though. Hopefully the Albion fan I bought it from might still be a poster?

I saw a car on the A259 in Peacehaven this week, it had a very similar plate to that, I knew it wasn’t you because it was a bright yellow Jeep

what does that mean?

The number plate is not on the car but held as a cerificate. It can go on any car registered after 1995 (When N reg was released)

I believe it costs £80 to put it on a retention certificate, hence my earlier comment that this plate is an absolute bargain

If you buy it you can put it on your car for the cost of a set of number plates. If you’re lucky the OP may even throw them in if he has ever had the registration on a car.

The best is B11 AFC, with a black cap over the retaining screw for the H, used to be on a Mini in Haywards Heath but last heard of in Merseyside .
