The Baggies have appointed Pepe Mel ex Real Betis as their new manager. I saw them in December 2012 and they were very good. This season? Generally rubbish, although signs from yesterday's King's Cup match that they may be improving and could get off the bottom of the league.
He is a very good and reliable manager and I applaud England's second Albion in their appointment.

Sorry don't agree...It's about time we started giving young British Managers the chance, Malky Mackay would have been the best for the British IMHO.

Decent choice really.

The reason young British managers dont get a chance is because the "continental" style (which we play) is becoming more favoured and British managers dont play this way.

That said, Mackay will get appointed by a club soon though - probably West Ham.
