yay. its a sound way to generate baseload power. the security thing is being overplayed, as i understand it the Chinese are only putting in money on this powerstation though maybe leading to providing whole nuclear plant tech in next few years.

there is a question of how did it come to this when we pioneered nuclear power. we really need to invest money into alternative designs, thorium sounds promising, that can be run cheaper. though at the price its still half that of offshore wind or solar.
