Flowers for Prescott from 90 clubs, Valentine's card for Prescott, National Falmer Day, the playoff semis, the playoff final itself and promotion, Lewes sponsorship...

It's been quite a year hasn't it?

For thread of the year I nominate KTA's "Me and my Mum visit Nimbyville". A clear winner I'm sure you'll agree

I second that motion.

Something which happened quite recently actually. The support on here for Millwall in their fight against the racist allegations made by the Sun was brilliant. It made a real difference and obviously became a real eye-opener to a club who's motto is "no-one likes us we don't care".
Also the new found friendship between us and Wrexham showed how this site could be used to it's full potential, not only in showing our immediate support for their cause but also as a way of organising such things like the "fans united" day at the Racecourse. Without this site probably none of this would have been possible, certainly not in such an immediate dramatic way.

For me it is the way that we have all got together to help other clubs like Wrexham and Millwall and to a lesser degree Lewes, when our own situation is dire.

Though for pure good feeling it must be the post play-off 2nd leg.

Vankleek Hill, actually....
NSC meltdown when John Prescott said "You can have Falmer if the other sites are proved to be shite by yet another inquiry."

When the first reports came out as being a "NO", I had to leave the office and go home, because I was in a frustrated, angry and yet sad and tearful mood. I couldn't let people see what a state I was in, knowing at that particular point in time, that the club I've supported all my life, could die.

After a couple of beers at home reflecting what could be, I logged on to NSC to find that Lord Bracknell had explained everything. My heart and spirits soared at the news.

I don't want that situation to occur ever again.

That mad Sunday evening a couple of weeks ago was great fun. We had Rob Roy's bitter personal attack on Attila (what a debut post that was, and the man himself took it well), the intense bickering over the Fans United scarves (very funny indeed) and Kev's 'Scarious Films' threads (the first of which had a sub-heading of 'Films What Scared You Shitless' and included the classic 'Physcho').

There were times during that evening that I had tears of laughter rolling down my cheeks. Top class entertainment.

 :lolol:
