I find the clamour for Disintegration quite strange. I remember being really disappointed when that was released, but that said, I do feel it has stood the test of time remarkably well. Seventeen Seconds made my list because it included "A Forest", a superb track.Interesting to see so many votes for 17 Seconds. For me it was their 'disappointing second album' after the joys of Three Imaginary Boys. Though not as diasappointing as Faith, the 'disappointing third album'.
With hindsight it might just scrape into my Cure Top-5, behind Three Imaginary Boys, Disintegration, Pornography and Kiss Me! Kiss Me! Kiss Me!
