I've got to hand it to you, @Theatre of Trees . I'm not sure I'd have been quite so thorough!

Epic match-up. Nothing between us. And I'd have been quite happy to have lost with a different outcome of the last game.

Kane's missed penalty won it for you, I had the match going to extra time. Saying that a third French goal would have won it for me too as well as another booking. Fine margins.

Having invented this method of deciding ties, I've been knocked out by it at the Quarter-Final stage both here and at Euro 2020.

You needed Messi to stutter a bit more in his run up.

To be precise on the first goal:
1. 23-38 - you win
2. 41-56 - Kojak wins
3. 39-40 - tiebreak
4. Before 23, after 56 or no goal - tiebreak

I'd originally put the first goal for the Argentina match as the 33rd minute (and Argentina to lead 1-0 half time, and 1-0 full time) but changed as i'd put the 33rd minute for the France game too.

Bound to have changed the wrong one and it'll now end up with the 1st goal in the France game will be around the time i changed the goal time too in the Argentina game (67th minute)

I've had my fair share of luck too
2 Uruguayans getting booked in the last minute while sitting on the bench in their last game against Ghana
Gave me 7 points!
Without that I wouldn't have made it out of the group stages
The cards and 1st goal have really spiced up the competition
