Good luck , I've just started playing those late buy in tournaments and if you can last until the late reg finishes there are some decent payouts to be had for a few dollars , mind you they take bloody ages .

Taking ages is good for me, I deposited £20 when I opened the account in September, used the poker based freebies along the way and still have a balance of $26 ... if Sterling* collapses before I get dealt a pair of 8s next Sunday evening, I'm sitting on a profit!

I just had a software update that took about 5mins to install. Don't know if this will effect everyone but just in case it might be worthwhile logging in soon (i.e. now) or you'll miss the chance to see me crash out in the first 5 minutes on a pair of 5s.

Here's tonight's result and final table of the current season 1st Tay 2nd Doogie 3rd Pevenseagull , special mention to Horsham Gull who joined late almost went out then made a spectacular recovery from $59 to $1500 in 6 hands then realised Line of Duty was about to start and chucked it away like confetti .


Well that couldn't have been any closer and after 6 months the season ends in a tie with Doogie and Tay both finishing on 91 points so get half the coveted Trophy each .

New season starts next week if you wish to get involved , thanks to those that played this time around hope to see a few more of you next week .

90 minutes but most people leave around the 80 minute mark to miss the train queue

The League has been running for years and it is about time we got some new players turning up on Sundays , we have 32 players registered but it seems to be the same 6 or 7 that turn up every week so if you would like a friendly game which generally turns to all things Brighton and Hove Albion in the chat facility then sign up and you will be welcome to play .

The format is Texas Holdem $5.50 to play , the more that play the higher the payouts and placed payouts , the league is based on a points system 1st 8points 2nd 5 points 3rd 3 points and 1 point for playing , regardless of your position.

You will find the league in your home games facility on Pokerstars .

The league runs for 6 months at a time then restarts again from scratch, to join just go to home games and search NSC Sunday Poker and the PIN league number is 3327492 , the game starts at 8 pm Sunday evening unless there is a Brighton match on at the same time .

Hopefully see a few more of you Sunday 8pm

You can now also play on your mobile or tablets as the home game selection is available on most devices .
