Is there going to be one this year?

The organisation is usually done by Hans Kraay Fan Club (aka REMF defensive rock and captain Simon), and it's been a great day out for the past two Summers, so myself and Team NSC would be well up for a 3rd edition this year.

If there'd be room for a team from another club, then worthing fans could probably field a team, as we are looking to get as many fans matches and 6 a sides as we can over the pre-season.

The way it worked last year was that all of the previous year's teams were given first refusal on returning, then any vacant spots arising from non-returning teams were filled on a first come, first served basis.

There isn't a lot of cost, only the pitch hire. More teams means more pitches, and a load more hassle for the organisers, or a lot more sitting around for all the teams while the games are going on two pitches.

The problem with that is that the 10 team (two groups of 5, each team plays the other 4 in their group once, top two from each group go to the semi finals) tournament format that we've used for the last two years takes all day, a 20 team competition would be simply impossible from a time perspective.
