Surely my answer of heaviest home defeat to Q7 must also be correct?
It was an away game...
I think 2-8 is the heaviest home defeat if we take out Norwich City in wartime.
Surely my answer of heaviest home defeat to Q7 must also be correct?
Yes, perhaps I should have added the A140 to the roads. However, given that Ipswich Town are League One it's nul point
Norwich City was the only plausible answer given the league restriction. I think around half got it.
As all my answers were all guesses, I'd thought I'd try it on.
Perhaps I could have a bye (AKA a kevo) in the next quiz round
So the NSC Summer Quiz League finishes with some close placings. The difference in standard meant that the top six merit players in the second division all found themselves promoted but the first division was less forgiving. 180 goals in division one got one player relegated but would have got them third in the lower league.
Hans Kraay Fan Club wins his second league title to add to his inaugural win in the spring.
Well done all those who took part- especially those who played on even though it was a struggle to compete with the resident boffins.
The autumn league starts next month. Everyone will be asked to confirm their commitment to play just prior. Promotion and relegation is official as stands at present. If players drop out then some may retain current status in the top league if that is where the withdrawals occur.

Congratulations to the league and cup winners, and big thanks again to Brighton Lines.
I'm actually a Lincolnshire Seagull supporter. You're my favourite player. You've never found it easy but you have always played and got your answers in on time.
My kind of team. Nice ground, friendly supporters and no delusions or whinges. I even had a team shirt designed in my mind. Weird how the brain works.

I wonder if it's because when I think of Lincolnshire I associate it with green pastures

Probably because Robin Hood wore Lincoln Green.
Yeah I'm looking forward to a more competitive division next season tooVery nice thank you. We are actually known as Lincolnshire Yellowbellies. We will be quite at home in div 2 next season.
