The points format will remain as before because of the overwhelming opinion that is for this. Six promoted/relegated.

Questions will appear each Monday. As before, the same set of questions will cover three matches. You will have until Thursday evening each week to submit your answers. There are six game weeks.

Now time for a MOAN.

The above entries are not the only ones who would have been late had it not been for bounce reminders and then the use of the @ facility.

There are cases (I can think of one this week) where folk might have good reason for not sending in their answers. But in the vast majority there is not. When there are a few left I often check to see if the entrants have been online just in case they just haven't popped by. In nearly all cases they will have been visiting NSC during the entire period.

Five days is ample to get 15 questions in. You need only spend 5 or 10 minutes on it.

So, please in future rounds keep this in mind. The complete admin for a single week is about 3 hours. I don't mind it at all. But I'm damn sure that if I can get everything done to the time limits I promise then nearly all, unless as I said, there are exceptional circumstances, can spend ten minutes doing their answers.

It's unfair to give automatic wins to opponents if players then send answers in for subsequent matches, so the two entrants will be eliminated from the competition and become 'byes'.

I seem to remember that in one of the tournaments the 'Mighty Bye' still managed to secure a point in one game despite scoring nil in every round...
