Not very prominent though... its just in there with all the other like-functions that were brought to social media in order to please 13-year-old girls
Maybe it was before your time that it was on here, but it could get incredibly spiteful at times. Genuine nasty online bullying in some cases.

Disappointed to see that the thumbsdown option appears to be available again - NSC overnight became a much nicer place when Bozza removed it.
.......and Motogull can just f**k off. ****!:)

See how thumbsdown makes this a worse place ...............

A couple of observations for @Bozza

1) If you begin to post a reply and think better of it - the message you began to compose is still present at the foot of the thread when you return to the same thread.

2) It appears that a deleted message which is quoted remains in the thread - it might have been like that before, I'm not sure.

I was just about to make the same comment regarding aborted replies, I can't see a way to delete them. Useful if you want to move away from the page to check something else, or find a relevant link, just needs a "cancel" or "delete" somewhere.

I have just realised that a box for you to comment is always open at the bottom of a page, if you click "Reply" it just sticks that post in the box that is always there, and to be rid of it, you have to select and delete the quote as you would any text you had put in the box by typing.

I've just highlighted the text and pressed delete/backspace on my keyboard and that has worked for me. So has the undo button in the upper right corner of the reply box (though that's a lot of tapping if you've written a lot).

2 things @Bozza:

The page navigation at the bottom of the BB is not working but at the top is fine.

Can the system be tweaked to restore this wonderful avatar of @Simster to its rightful glory:

Edit FFS 'screenshot' bollockses it up.

The breadcrumb trail...

....at the bottom of this thread works fine for me.

Not sure what you're asking re: avatars, but they seem to have lost some quality in the move across, but re-uploading them should resolve that.

Great improvement. Was wondering if there was a way to set default filters and to apply filters of more than one category?

Not currently, no. There's at least one add-on that might enable that. I'll be looking at expanding functionality once I've settled on, and installed, new theme(s).

The old layout was a lot sleeker and this one seems older/blockier despite it being new. That's just my opinion, which is worthless.

One thing I would like to see back would be the 'hover cursor over thread' text preview.

Layout: forgive what will read as bluntness, but I've posted about it around a zillion times: I've not touched the look and feel yet. It will change.

Hover preview: It's still here...

@Bozza one thing I used to use occasionally was click the no. of replies on a thread before you went into it gave you the number of times each poster had posted on that particular thread. That no longer seems available in any form.

Other than that, loving the new appearance, format, functionality. Seamless between device and desktop. Well played sir.

Just got an Avast pop blocking a phishing link, assuming this is related to the adverts being turned on?
