NSC New Format vs. NSC Classic. Which version are you using?

New for me, seems little point in reverting to classic when it (presumably) won't be around for much longer.

I actually prefer it anyway, with the exception of the size of the text, though zooming out tends to sort that.

On the new version, individual posts within a thread are separated by a thick, dark horizontal bar which isn't easy on the eye - especially if there are a lot of single sentence posts.

Classic version. New version seems to have over-generous amounts of white space. It's also missing the thumbs, which wouldn't matter if both versions either had the thumbs, or didn't have them.

It's similar to lying down on your side in prison. The bars go from being vertical to horizontal.

Mine was still displaying as classic and even the link you provided still displayed as classic.

To change to the previous format, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "NSC Classic" from the drop-down menu on the left hand side. However it sounds like Bozza will be disabling this functionality in the near future and the NSC 'modern' version will be the default.

Tried this and it finally switched to the modern version for me.

Have to say i prefer the classic version. To me a lighter background is better for reading and a lot of the grey boxes look odd (the boxes for join date, location and posts)

Reverting back to classic (for as long as it lasts)

I didn't like the new version when I first saw it in work on friday (not signed in), when I got home where I am signed in it was still on the old version. I discovered the option in the bottom left corner to change it and did and now I like the new version.

Slight tweaks I'd like to see
-Still waiting for the mark forums read option to be fixed
-Links to forum, main stuff, big board above the quick reply box look a little untidy. I'd either align them all to the left, or have them spread out across the page like they were.

Classic for me (as long as it lasts anyway). Was there a reason for changing it, I wonder. A vote would have been nice.
