NSC Napsters - The Cheltenham Festival - Please Read

The holy grail of racing starts Tuesday with the Cheltenham Festival. This is like a religious festival for me where I drink and bet at the Alter of Cheltenham for 3 days. Its like having 20 cup finals over 3 days.

Lord B has put forward the idea of having a spin off namely " NSC Champion Cheltenham Tipster ". The normal daily nap will still continue but for those brave souls who are interested the same will apply for the 3 days at Cheltenham only you will select a horse in each of the 20 races to win. £ 10 to win as usual per race with the most profit over the 3 days being declared the winner.

We can either do this for fun or do it for a purse. The Champion Cheltenham tipster will be an annual event and a trophy can be presented together with the main NSC Champion napster after 7/5/04.

Whose of the 20 Napsters is interested ?.

And there's no reason why this has to be confined to the existing players in the daily naps contest.

I suggest we make it a rule that the overall winner MUST enter for every race. I speak as someone who jumped further up the naps table this week on the day that I abstained than I did on any of the days when I tipped a winner.



PS ... and on Friday I picked a winner and dropped two places down the Table.

I'll go with that. I'm sure we can trust everyone, most involved have shown they'er genuine by contributing to the main naps pot. As this is smaller, I think we can rely on people.
