The point is if you want to change your name - just drop a mod a PM and we'll do it - there is no need to start up another account...

Excellent, can I be called Loretta please?

Damn, I just realised I can't, my French Maidservant is called Loretta La Otter. It would be too close and cause post confusion.

There are not too many name changes - don't reckon I do more than 1 or 2 a month.

One user did ask me to change theirs a couple of days ago, having changed only a few weeks before. I politely told them to f*** off...

Can't imagine who that was :lolol:

How exactly do you go about changing your username (but keeping everything else)?

I've looked everywhere in the User Control Panel and can't see how it's done?

I was Tim Over Whelmed a few years ago but lost my posts or something odd like that but then logged back in a Tim Over Whelmed, the experience hasn't harmed me and I will not be taking any form of legal action ... at this stage!

has hotlips cooled?

Don't be silly.

This is a genuine question initiated because someone suggested that my current username is not helping promote myself correctly in my line of business.

I could open another account from scratch, but I'd lose my post count and then have to monitor 2 seperate accounts for PMs etc...

Can this be done myself, or do I need to PM someone "important" on this forum to assist me?
