I used to have a European one but was forced to give it up.
I had the same and I can also get a Polish passport through being married. SpookyWhen I was constantly travelling for work (pre-COVID), I had two UK passports. One was 'clean' and used for travelling to regular places, the other was 'dirty' and had all my visas for unusual destinations. This gave me flexibility, and was definitely beneficial (although work-related travel stops being fun after a handful of trips). I had to submit a justification letter from my employers with the second application, and the process was relatively simple. My 'dirty' one expired last year, and won't be renewed.
I also qualify for a Polish passport, and keep meaning to obtain this.
Go for it. Many politicians have obtained Irish passports so why not you?Looking at an Irish passport as my grandmother was Irish. We met some Canadian people who are selling their property in Portugal which looks fab and thinking we would need longer than 90 days x2 to justify buying it!
Does your other half have access to another passport? I have an Irish passport as well as a British one as we spend more than 90 days in France but my wife has to get a 6 month visa, as she has a British passport, which means loads of form filling and a trip to London for a grilling. My father was Irish so it was very simple to get an Irish passport.Looking at an Irish passport as my grandmother was Irish. I have just a UK passport but I also have a live and work “in perpetuity” German visa which grants me Schengen benefits, for example I can use this with airport e-gates.I'm dual British and Australian, and have a Residency (Schengen) visa through a property in Spain.
depends what passport you entered that country on.If you hold passports for more than one country, what happens if you get caught in a warzone or arrested in an authoritarian state? Do you get a choice of countries to help you out or do they all try and fob you off?
Alas I still have to queue in the Brexit lineI have just a UK passport but I also have a live and work “in perpetuity” German visa which grants me Schengen benefits, for example I can use this with airport e-gates.
