When I was constantly travelling for work (pre-COVID), I had two UK passports. One was 'clean' and used for travelling to regular places, the other was 'dirty' and had all my visas for unusual destinations. This gave me flexibility, and was definitely beneficial (although work-related travel stops being fun after a handful of trips). I had to submit a justification letter from my employers with the second application, and the process was relatively simple. My 'dirty' one expired last year, and won't be renewed.

I also qualify for a Polish passport, and keep meaning to obtain this.
I had the same and I can also get a Polish passport through being married. Spooky :)
We are also Green Card holders for the USA so it could be 2.5 passports for us.

Looking at an Irish passport as my grandmother was Irish. We met some Canadian people who are selling their property in Portugal which looks fab and thinking we would need longer than 90 days x2 to justify buying it!

Go for it. Many politicians have obtained Irish passports so why not you?

Does your other half have access to another passport? I have an Irish passport as well as a British one as we spend more than 90 days in France but my wife has to get a 6 month visa, as she has a British passport, which means loads of form filling and a trip to London for a grilling. My father was Irish so it was very simple to get an Irish passport.

To get her an Irish passport it seems we have to move to Ireland for three years.

My Irish passport is one of my most treasured possessions. It has kept me sane in post-Brexit Britain, which is saying a lot given the almighty shit-show we've had since 2016. I wasn't previously that interested in my Irish heritage, but over the past few years have been reading more Irish authors, learning more about Irish history, and listening to RTE whenever I get a chance :)

Disappointing!

Someone posts a sensible question using the word 'cosmopolitan' and gets dozens of sensible answers and not one reference to Rik trying to innocently read about women's fashion in private:

You've changed NSC😞. You've changed.

I’ve only got a UK passport.

Not sure if being the first cousin twice removed of, at one time, Irelands most capped rugby union player, would entitle me to citizenship. At his retirement he was also their record point scorer and had played the most games as captain of any Irish player ever.

It is probably more deserving than Harry Kane having an Irish passport.

I'm dual British and Australian, and have a Residency (Schengen) visa through a property in Spain.
I have just a UK passport but I also have a live and work “in perpetuity” German visa which grants me Schengen benefits, for example I can use this with airport e-gates.

British and Swedish. And let me tell you the smugness I feel when I travel abroad and SAUNTER past my fellow Brits in that long queue for the blue passport holders is something quite special.
