I've been getting an error all day when trying to select any of the threads:

This was on Safari. I did see a thread saying it wasn't working on Opera...which I've just gone on, and NSC is working fine! Still not on Safari though.

It won't be Safari (nor any other end user technology) - I'm typing this from Safari and the site has been working 100% for me all day.

It will be your NSC cookie and/or browser cache. Clear those and you should be golden.

That worked! Thanks Bozza - it was the misleading wording in the error that threw me off the scent! :)

I'm having an odd issue. When I'm away for any length of time and come back (to the big board as in my bookmarks) it is showing me as logged out (and a note in the login box warns about the site not being secure). If I click on a thread, it takes me to an https secure page on which I'm already logged in. Then going back to the big board (either via my bookmark, or the link at the top/bottom of the thread page) it is all normal.

Just had a thought while writing this and have added an s to the http bit of my bookmark (the url on this page is https, but my bookmark was http).

I don't know if this has been dealt with on here already.

But every time i login i now have to enter user name and password. This is on three different devices i have in the house. So i cleared the cache ,still had to login.

What i discovered was that by deleting my bookmark and creating a new one when i clicked on this it was all back to normal and i didn't have to login. As i said apoligies if this has already been stated.

Don't know if creating a new bookmark after deleting the old one will work. It did for me .

Exactly the same for me. Deleted old bookmark, created a new one once signed in. Working fine.

Since the changes I've found NSC to be very laggy particularly down at the bottom of the page.

When reading a thread and wanting to click on the next page buttons, or click 'The Big Board' on the left to go back to the main page the cursor doesn't change to show them as a link, or clicking on them they don't respond for ages if at all)

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Is the site still moving from vbulletin and binning tapatalk for something else, or was that just a dream

Why am i able to load NSC on this tablet but on the PC it won't load saying Web site don't exist with a 502 error, i had assumed that bozza had closed it down, anyone else experienced this?

I kept getting that error. Clearing cookies sorted it for me.

Silly old bat
I've just managed to delete the Nsc cookies, having already deleted History. I'm now back in, in Chrome.

I got the error 502 again suddenly about 10 minutes ago and had to delete the Nsc cookies again. There must be one or two that are causing this to repeat.

Was getting it as well, just done a cookie deletion. 520 errors (not 502), it's Cloudflare misbehaving with the new NSC servers - something isn't configured correctly. Next time I get it, I'll take a screenshot, as it's giving a good amount of info that Bozza might find useful.

I’ve been getting the same for a few days ..
I’ve covered the ID no. just in case that gives away too much info

That's the beast. I believe it has something to do with the cookies that track what we've read / not read. When I get the error, I can take the URL and use it in an incognito window and it works fine. Or, as others have found, if you delete your cookies it will go back to working fine.
