I have installed a new chat facility on NSC which you can access by clicking ' ** NSC Live Chat **' located near the top of every NSC page.
I've done this for a couple of reasons...
1. The previous NSC chatroom was hosted elsewhere so was out of our full control.
2. There was no login facility with the previous chatroom, meaning that anyone could pretend to be anyone else. By all accounts, some cheeky scamps took advantage of this and caused lots of mischief during match day chats recently. The current chatroom is only available to logged in NSC users and, additionally, NSC moderators can edit or remove messages if required and even ban users from the chatroom.
3. Some people experienced problems with the last chatroom and could never get it to work. By embedding this chatroom within NSC, I hope more people are able to use it.
