Season 4 - News Thread
Season 4 sees the introduction of the play-offs for divisions 1 - 3, and European places for the top 7 Premiership finishers. The NSC League has also received corporate sponsorship, signed in a five season deal with Nike and Sony. The league boasts a record 79 league members this season, although 6 are in administration for not entering predictions.
Administration:
Division 1: Bad Ash, GNF on Tour, ItaliaSeagull, Lord Bracknell, The Wookie.
Division 2: Juan Albion
To come out of administration, simply enter predictions for the remaining games here.
League so far.....16 games gone:
Premiership
80's Seagull and Kylies Stunt Arse are sitting pretty on top. The race for Europe is being tightly contested with positions 3 - 8 all having identical records. Division One champion Braders7 is sitting comfortably in 11th. The other premiership new boys tinx and fluffster are struggling, but avoiding the drop zone. ManxSeagull props up the table with just 12 points. He has a lot of work to do.
Division One
rrruss leads the field having lost only 1 game. The play-off positions are open to whoever wants them, any of the players are capable of reaching them.
The good news for Hilton and co. is that 5 teams are in administration, so the relegation places are already filled.
Division Two
Due to 5 division one teams in administration, extra promotion places are currently on offer. brighton_b0y is looking to make the first spot his own, but is closely followed 5 teams only 3 points behind. With the exception of ben andrews girlfriend and Del Boy who are struggling with relegation, all other players can consider the play-offs a realistic target.
Division Three
League new boys Barnet Seagull, Telboy and cheeseroll are all looking to leapfrog Division Three in their first season, holding the top three places. As with the other divisions, the battle for the play-offs is being contested by most of the division, although I can't think of one is currently in the wooden spoon position of bottom of the football league.
League Tables as at 7th March:
The next games are on Tuesday.
