The classic looks more clean and attractive in my opinion. I don't hate the new design, it does look good, but I do prefer the classic theme.

Perhaps change the bars on the new theme to the classic colour? #7bb5e1

It's too pale - it's a Coventry blue, not a Brighton blue. I'd got rid of most of the pale blue on the classic theme a long time ago.

I just changed to Classic on my Android tab and thumbs have returned.

Using an iPad and mine doesn't seem to have changed at all apart from the thread envelopes.......is there something wrong with mine??

Edit. Ignore as I see you have to change it and it's not automatic

That colour doesn't appear on either versions on my comp except for the bar over the 'Quick reply' box! On classic the bars between the threads are a very agreeable pale grey, and on the new system they're rather darker; too dark, really - not so easy on the eye.
