70's. My era. DJ back then and I can pick out any single from my box just by looking at it. Obviously early 70's was teeny bopper stuff, Osmonds David Cassidy et al. This moved on to the glam rock T Rex, Sweet music. Later on along came disco with Chic and the Saturday Night Fever movie. Throw in Punk Rock and the 70's certainly had it all.
My favorite? I could list 100's but cherry picking from my 12" collection would be Hamilton Bohannon - Let's Start The Dance

Worthing
First album I bought was Masters of Reality by Black Sabbath, in about 1971.
I got it from the Virgin record shop by the clock tower on west street, quite an eye opener then for a 12 year old.

What ever happened to Virgin?
