Is it me or do a lot of people on this site love to be OUTRAGED. I left the ground thinking G.M. was a bit naughty & he had upset a few pissed up teenagers. I get on here this morning & its like windowlicker 2.
Are you really so sensitive that a northern bloke not waving to you on a saturday is going to turn you into Mr. angry.
Despite what you think, Glenn Murray doesn't have to be your mate, he just has to play football & compared to what we have, he does it rather well.

I think you,re missing the point. As BHA supporters, we support our team. No matter how many years you may have been a supporter, the team we support at any given time, is the players on the pitch. If they were ALL to treat you with contempt...............would you REALLY want to continue to support BHA...?

I certainly wouldn,t.

The rapport between players and supporters is fundamental to the continuing support of the club by the fans.

I recall that prior to signing Chris Hutchins in 1983 the players NEVER clapped the fans and it didn't make me support the Albion any less.

At last a voice of reason, could not agree more. Here's a somewhat more distanced perspective, from a life long (almost 40 years now) Albion fan who wants nothing more than success for the team over any individual player pandering. When I logged off BBC Football's coverage and went to bed last night out here in the perimeter, I was happy in the knowledge that we'd had a draw at Brentford and that Murray had another decent run off the bench to advertise his wares in the window, realizing he will ultimately leave when the right offer comes in from oop North. Then I wake this morning to find NSC in virtual meltdown. No I wasn't there, no I'm not paying his wages, but do you not think it might just possibly have been his way of responding to hearing concerted vocal abuse of his chosen life partner last week? I'm going out on a limb now but, perhaps if a number of the outraged had a life partner themselves they may understand his situation a tad more sympathetically? Also, to those who found this abuse funny last week, then suck it up this week if he ignored you - what did you expect?
IF THE CAP FITS, WEAR IT - this is not a dig at any Murray loyalist who's done nothing but defend him, just a less emotive view from a stray seagull.
Finally, if Slade wants to include the best striker we've had since Zamora the Scorer as a potential impact match winner from the bench, happy or not with his lot, then that's good enough for me - the previously commented on Christiano Ronaldo comparison from last season (whilst a bit of a stretch) is one to remember - MUFC would not have got what they got if he hadn't played out of skin whilst clearly wanting to leave and had instead been told to sit in the stands / reserves would they now??
Why cut off your nose to spite your face, lets make the most of what we've got as god knows we'll need it all to get out of this league, and those are my 2 final cliches on this sorry affair...

Surely it is not the lack of clapping the fans it is the " I am not part of this team or part of this club " statement he made by f***ing off down the tunnel.

We spent our hard earned money going up there to support him and the team. He didn't join in the post game huddle and he walked off completely blanking the fans who were cheering for him during the match. So no we're not over reacting. The bloke's a c*nt and can piss off. He doesn't deserve an Albion shirt.

Im sorry for being outraged but I spend A LOT of money going to matches week in week out, the least I expect it to be acknowledged by the team, the guy deliberately snubbed us who pay his wages and were supporting him.(which were the majority)

I Really am, REALLY sorry for being outraged. :US:

What I can't believe is so many of you were still in the ground at the end!!

There is a pub on every corner of the ground!!

People need to chill the f*** out, NONE of you really know what is going on with Murray, let Slade and the people that do know sort it out.

If it is the case that the bloke is a grade A penis then we need to get rid of the bloke by the end of the month. You lot slagging him off in every thread isn't going to do anything positive to his price tag.
